February Challenge: choice

Medium: Graphite
The lovely couple again in a lot of anger.

February Challenge: Anger

Medium: Marker and pen
I wanted to show an aggressive movement with jagged lines and this lady popping out of the door.

February Challenge: Macro

Medium: pen and graphite
An upclose view point of a man in despair. The lines are jagged and you can see the outline to add a messy feeling to the character in this piece.

February Challenge: Needs, Creative lighting

Medium: Photo
I just really enjoyed the empty lot and neon light for this small auto company.

February Challenge: Movement and Temptation

Medium: Pen
The temptation of touching and reaching and wanting to grab onto something with the movement of your hand is what is the meaning behind this piece.

February Challenge: Night with text

Medium: pen
This was my favorite to make because it's very much my style with art. I wanted to show the aftermath of going out, with make up smeared and this girl falling all over the place.

February Challenge: Voyeurism

Medium: Marker
This just shows a conflict occurring of a "robber" sneaking into this house.

February challenge: FOOD

Medium: Photo
This is a picture of my breakfast and it just shows the more real side of eating, it's not that pretty. I also liked having my hand shadow above it because then it seems that I am reaching for it.

February Challenge: Surrealism, with color

Medium: Graphite, Pen, Oil pastel.
This goes with the theme of surrealism and how I wanted to abstract a man into a person being weighed down by his own self.

February Challenge: Texture

Medium: Acrylic
A woman looking down upon something vulgar. I wanted to capture a modern woman being positioned very structured and to be very intense.

Inflamed: February Challenge

Medium: color pencil and pen.
This is a piece created for the february challenge (new, color pencil). I usually don't use color pencil but with this I colored only certain areas of this man's face and then scratched a the surface of the color to make a kind of patchy look to the color.

Protecting Layer

Medium: Nails and window screens
6in X 4in X 1 in
In this wearable piece, I wanted to represent the hard exterior we put on to protect from getting hurt even though that may be hurting our surroundings more than we think.
