Foot Vase
Medium: Raku Clay and glossy white spray paint. With plants from the earth.

The idea of growth from destruction came with making this piece. It began as a classical foot until it broke in the kiln at the ankle. It gave a new meaning to the piece and showed me how to work through the problem and create something better than I imagined instead of giving up. It grew from it's broken pieces.
