Takes two

 Medium: Stoneware Clay &Glaze (12inX2inX3in)
The intuitive perception and logical perspective attempt to come one to discover the nonsense we all carry.

Infected Blues

Medium: Stoneware Clay, Blue & White Glaze
A lot of my work is the human form, especially in exaggerating the body. This piece shows the imperfections and rougher side of the body infecting the purity of the Classical form.

Nightmare of a Stickman

Medium: Pink Panther foam board, sewing pins, Elmer's glue & Silver spray paint (2ftX4ftX13ft)
When I approached the idea of this piece I was aiming towards a decked out stick figure and slowly this piece became a nightmare on it's own. It was an installation piece so at first it stood at 8 feet tall in the classroom but when I moved it to the Brown Building it became 13ft tall. This was my final project at MICA.

Handy Ladder

Medium: Wood, plaster, plastic bags, and hammer.
This piece started with an old wood crate carrier I found with a sign that said "please take." The wooden palate was in a square form so I used an electric saw to cut it down the middle, then stacked them on top of each other and dirtied up another piece of wood to hammer into the taller piece so it could stand up on it's own. I wrapped my hands about 32 times with plaster stripes and then attached it to the wood with hot glue. Then touched it up with painting/ adding other materials to create a creepy grabby feeling to the piece.

Making Sense is For the Weak

Medium: Watercolor/sharpie
This piece was inspired by Hope Gangloff, depicting a discolored man with the unknown to look forward to.
